Design Blog: Monitor Customisation

While waiting for a connection cable to hook up my second monitor I decided to try and utilise the spare monitor at my desk.

A second monitor is useful when comparing models or setting up a drawing file on one while you model the product on the other.

I also added a clip onto my working monitor as a note holder to keep me organised on set goals for the day or specifically to the job im doing at the time.

I had a cope of spare paperclips available at my desk and bent them into a warped U, with the intention of clipping to the top of the monitor. This would allow me to slide paper/ notes into the side of the paper clip at the front of the screen. hopefully the photos can illustrate this.

Ive always enjoyed trying to craft solutions to issues using materials available to me. You'd be surprised what can be made using basic stationary items.

Good example of quick easy design that allows the user to utilise something beyond that of its designated original purpose.
